HGC Engineering is Canada’s largest consulting engineering firm dedicated exclusively to practice in the fields of noise, vibration and acoustics.

We specialize in the assessment and control of noise for industrial clients across Canada and are licensed as Professional Engineers in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta. We can provide the broad perspective needed for projects with a nation-wide scope.

HGC Engineering specializes in leading edge acoustical measurements and analysis. We are North American leaders in the use of the sound intensity measurement techniques needed to obtain accurate results even in demanding and complicated industrial environments.

We conduct accurate surveys to identify all significant noise sources associated with large industrial facilities, power plants petrochemical plants and gas compression stations. HGC Engineering was one of the first acoustical consulting firms to standardize the use of CadnaA noise modeling software system preferred by the Ontario Ministry of Environment (MOE) and regulations across the country for large scale acoustical assessments.

HGC Engineering maintains an excellent working relationship with the MOE. We regularly interact with the Noise Assessment and Approvals unit and their staff.
